The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, March 16 so Castle Country Radio took time to sit down with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to talk about the luncheon.
This month’s luncheon will take place at 12:00 pm at the Price Chapel on 611 West Price River Drive with a special guest speaker. “So Utah Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Initiative, they have an office here at the BTAC, Dr. Tulinda Larsen is going to be our speaker,” said Haeck. They will share what their businesses can do for people in the area and you will learn more about the company.
There will also be spotlights to highlight a Business and Community organization. “So we have one Business Spotlight this month, Debugger Pest Control. So they’ll come and tell us a little bit about their business. Then we also have Price City Renaissance Festival, Megan Marshall is going to join us and talk about that, and she’s also going to talk about Carbon County Mammoth Hockey,” said Haeck. The Price City Renaissance Festival will be taking place on April 28 and April 29 at Washington Park.
The deadline to RSVP for the Chamber’s March Luncheon is quickly approaching. “We need to get registered before Friday, March 10 and you can register online at https://www.carboncountychamber.net/ or you can call the chamber office and leave a message (435) 637-2788,” explained Haeck. The luncheon is being catered by Club Mecca with a cost of $18.00 for chamber members and $25.00 non-members. This is a great opportunity to network with local businesses and merchants in the area.
