Things remained relatively quiet until North Sanpete put up two runs in the top of the sixth inning, putting the score at 4-3. Emery came out in the bottom half of the inning with no outs and Easton Nielson took his first pitch to left field bringing Gannon Ward and Abrams home, giving the Spartans just enough cushion to maintain the 6-3 win.
