Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Jerry Lynn Christensen, passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2023, at the age of 60.

He was born on February 26, 1963 in Price, Utah to Thomas Adron (Bud) Christensen and Lena Belle Kofford Christensen.

Jerry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who loved fishing, hunting, and camping with his father and brothers. He enjoyed the beauty of the great outdoors. He loved taking pictures and videos of nature and animal life. He was a good marksman and enjoyed target shooting.

Jerry worked as the Animal Control Officer for Carbon County and Price City for a number of years. He also worked as a power plant security guard and for the Coca Cola Bottling Company.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Lena Christensen, Price, Utah; sister, Karen (Kirk) Sitterud, Orangeville, Utah; brothers, Leslie Christensen, Grand Junction, Colorado and Gary Christensen, West Valley City, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Bud Christensen; sister, Christine Tharp: brothers, Clarence Andrew, Buddy Lee, Dennis K, and Llovd Thomas Christensen.

Funeral services for Jerry are scheduled for Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Price Fourth Ward Chapel (Price Stake Center, 150 South 500 East Price, Utah 84501). The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Price City Cemetery in Price.
