Rickie “Rick” Val Keele, age 75, passed away on March 16, 2023 in Glade Park, Colorado.

Rick was born on June 11, 1947 in Price, Utah to Fred Manning and Pearl Valentine Petersen Keele.

He married Mary Katherine Jones on March 23, 1966 in Boise, Idaho. They bought a home in Carbonville, Utah in 1971. Together, they raised their family and continued to live there throughout his life. Mary preceded him in death on January 14, 2022.

Rick loved his family and would do anything he could to help them. Rick was a brave, loyal, and selfless, hardworking man. He will be missed by many.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Lloy Keele Beauchamp; granddaughters, Ashley Miller Swofford, Jessica Miller Pike, and Nila Keele; multiple great-grandchildren; and sister, Reba Keele.

Preceded in death by his parents, Fred Manning and Pearl Valentine Petersen Keele; son, Jim Keele; brothers, Dale, Virgil, Lee, and Fred Keele; and sister, Beth Keele Prettyman.

Graveside service, Wednesday, March 22, 2023, 1:00 p.m., Price City Cemetery (595 East 400 North Price, Utah 84501). Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Rick online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
