The Carbon Dino soccer team was on the road Tuesday, making the long trip to Cedar City to face the Canyon View Falcons. This would be the second and final meeting between the two schools in the regular season, with Carbon taking the first meeting in Price just a couple weeks ago. The Dinos would find the back of the net twice and Dylan Curtis would earn another shutout win, 2-0.

Coming off of back-to-back losses in Manti and Castle Dale against Emery, Carbon was in need of a win to get back on track at Canyon View on Tuesday.

Carbon would get on the board in the first half, finding the back of the net and holding the Falcons scoreless, taking a 1-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.

In the second half, the Dinos went to work once again putting up another goal and in between the pipes Dylan Curtis would register another shutout win, his second of the season, for the 2-0.

Luke Brady and Connor Cunningham each would score one goal, and Tacoma Smith and Joe Morley each had an assist in the game.

Carbon will get back to work Thursday when Grand comes town, for the first meeting of the  season in this Region 12 match-up.

Game time is set for 4 p.m..
