The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, April 20 at 12:00 pm so Castle Country Radio took time to sit down with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to get all the details.
“April luncheon is scheduled for the 20th at USU Eastern in the Student Center Alumni Room. So this month it’s a little bit different, our Community Spotlight this month is Friends of the Helper Area. They’re working on getting a handicapped access playground in Helper, Valarie Marietti will be talking to us about that. Then we have three Business Spotlights in April,” said Haeck. The three Business Spotlights this month will shine on Borrow & Steel Art Company, Zions Bank and Polaris Adventures.
“One more thing about the luncheon, the Castleview Hospital’s Bridge Program is our guest speaker for that day. Castleview is a huge supporter of the chamber. We appreciate them so much, we’re looking forward to hearing about the Bridge Program,” said Haeck. The cost to attend is $18.00 for chamber members and $25.00 for non-members. If you are interested in attending the Apr. luncheon you are asked to RSVP by Friday, Apr. 14. To RSVP you can call the chamber at (435) 637-2788 or email them at cccc@carboncountychamber.net
The Chamber of Commerce has added a few new board members this year and they are excited to announce its new board members to listeners, as Haeck shares, “So Shannon Jones from Intermountain Electronics is joining us, Doug Miller from USU Eastern and the BTAC, and Ann Anderson from Castle Country Radio.” If you see these folks around town be sure to congratulate them on their new appointment.
