casino-night

The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host their annual Cinco De Mayo Casino Night on Friday, May 5 at 7:00 pm. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to get all the details and ways you can become a sponsor this year.

There are two main fundraisers the Chamber hosts throughout the year, the Casino Night during the Spring and a golf tournament in the Fall. They are currently looking for businesses to help sponsor Casino Night this year. “Ok, so we have three options for sponsorship. You can donate a prize of a value of $100.00 or more, and we’ll give you one ticket to the event. Also, beside the prize we will put your name and logo and advertise a bit for you. So that’s one option. The next option is a Gaming Sponsor, its $250.00, it includes two tickets to the event and your company name and logo on one of the tables at the event. Then the last sponsorship is we call it the High Roller Sponsor, it’s a $500.00 donation. You’ll receive four tickets to the event, and your company logo will be on all the printed material and your company name and logo will be on one of the tables at the event, and then during the event we’ll recognize you,” explained Haeck. The sponsorship deadline for printing is Monday, Apr. 24. This a great way to get your business advertised during this annual event.

This event is sure to bring everyone out from the community as there will be many games to play. “We hire Slickenstein Poker and Mike Huff. He does such a good job. There will be Bingo, Blackjack, Craps, Faro, Let it Ride, Texas Hold’em and Roulette,” stated Haeck. The games are open to all guests who attend the event, there is sure to be something fun for everyone to enjoy.

The event will be held at the Carbon County Event Center where there will be drinks and food available for guests. “We’ve been working with the event center to try and set this up and yea, they’re super excited to have us.  I think they’re going to do a special margarita for the night since it’s Cinco De Mayo but yea, the bar will be open. We’re not quite sure, we’re still working on the menu, we’re hoping to have a vendor or two where you can purchase food, but food will be available,” said Haeck.
