The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host their annual Cinco De Mayo Casino Night on Friday, May 5 at 7:00 pm. Castle Country Radio was able to speak over the telephone with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to get all the details and ways you can become a sponsor this year.

“The chamber has hired Slickenstein Poker to come, they are going to set up all their tables and bring their dealers. We’ll have Bingo, Black Jack, Craps, Faro, Let it Ride, Poker, and Roulette. With the purchase of each ticket, you’ll receive a $100.00 at the door in chips. This year there also will be a High Roller Section, so the betting will be a little bit higher, but the prizes in the High Roller Section will only be able to be won by someone who is playing in the High Roller Section,” stated Haeck. Guests will be allowed to purchase more chips during the event if they would like to.

If you or your business would like to be a sponsor there is still time to help as long as you commit by Friday, April 28. There are a few ways to become a sponsor, you or your business can donate a prize and your business will be acknowledged for doing so, plus receive one event ticket. Haeck explains other ways to sponsor, “You can be a Gaming Sponsor for $250.00 and that includes two tickets to the event and your company name and logo on one of the tables at the event. Or you can be a Higher Roller Sponsor, $500.00 includes four tickets to the event, your company name and logo on all the printed material and then your company name and logo, one table at the event and then during the event we will recognize our sponsors.” This is a great way to get your business advertised during this annual event.

Everyone in the community over the age of 21 is invited to attend this event as there will be adult beverages available for purchase along with Ruben’s BBQ. “Tickets are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door. All of our Chamber Board Members have tickets to sell or you can call the Chamber Office at (435) 637-2788 and I’ll make arrangements with you for you to pick up your tickets,” said Haeck.
