Dale Ray Reid passed away alone at Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Price, UT at 2:44 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 62 years of age.

Dale was born in Ogden, UT on August 12,1960. He attended Carbon High School but failed to graduate. He worked various jobs during his lifetime, including welding and other things.

Dale enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being around and serving others at the New Heights Clubhouse, and exploring the areas around Carbon County, which were near and dear to his heart. He was artistic and creative and used his hands for crafting and making things to decorate his life or give as gifts. In many ways, he was not made for this world and wasn’t able to fully enjoy all that this life has to offer. A lifelong struggle with addictions, victim mentality, and unresolved trauma kept him from knowing his sons and truly enjoying this life.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Evan Richard Reid (2/95) and Gloria Ann Reid Callor (3/11).

He is survived by his sisters, Selby, Stephanie, and Cara; sons, Dakotah Phillips of Lehi, UT (wife Brittany, McKinley, Maizy), Danley Phillips of Lehi, UT and Devon Phillips of Mint Hill, NC (Brandon, estranged), none of whom he ever truly knew.
