Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and close friend, Trudy Marasco Markosek, age 68 passed away from a broken heart unexpectedly and peacefully while she slept in on May 4, 2023.
She was born June 16, 1954 in Price, Utah to Tony and Helen Sporcich Marasco.
Trudy… her name was as unique and distinguishable as her person There was no mistaking who she was or who she was related to. From Trudy’s very beginnings, she was taught that family meant everything. Even the most distant of bloodline could feel the warmth and love from her heart. No matter the quarrel, she would have laid down her arms for family. Trudy’s heart welcomed anyone in, she had an open-door policy. Unbeknownst to the naïve, this open door had to be your own. If your door was left open, you were considered family or at least near and dear to it.
Trudy’s voice was large but her heart was even larger. Those who pierced its hard outer shell knew there was warmth and comfort within. Her random acts of kindness showed her heart was full and forgiving to those who were willing to forget. Trudy loved a good laugh, even though it may have been at her expense, she was always a willing participant.
Trudy had a smothering love for her two daughters and two granddaughters. Never a day passed that she hadn’t texted or called over a dozen times to see what was happening minute by minute in their lives. Trudy had a special spot in her heart for God’s furry and feathered creatures. She not only loved her own but especially loved her grand-pets and friend-pets.
Trudy is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Markosek; daughter, Tammy (Pete) Ardohain; granddaughters, Reese and Aleece Ardohain; grandson, Skully Ross the Chocolate Lab.
Trudy is broken heartedly preceded in death by her father, Tony Marasco; mother, Helen Marasco; in-laws, Frank and Helen Markosek; and her daughter, Teri Markosek.
