Wyatt Falk has been impressive this season, but on Thursday night he may have turned in his best performance on the mound, throwing a no-hitter against the Canyon View Falcons in the quarterfinals of the 3A State Baseball Championships and advancing to face No. 1 Juab, with the 10-0 five-inning win.

The Dinos put up big numbers at the plate as well with a six-run second inning. With the score already at 5-0, Camden Wilson came to the plate and sent a single to center scoring Ridge Nelson, Tyrus Madsen would also score on an error putting the score at 7-0.

In the bottom of the fifth with the score at 8-0, Maizen Prichard walked up and sent a grounder to second for a single, allowing Michael Vigil to score and then Deagan Richards would score on the throw putting the score at 10-0 and giving the Dinos the win in five.

Vigil had a 2-2 day at the plate with a pair of runs and RBI’s. Prichard was 2-3 with two RBI’s and a run scored and Nelson was 1-3 with a pair of runs and RBI’s .
