James Charles Arthur Gluesing was born on April 12, 1962 to Karolyn Rutherford and Harold Gluesing. He passed away at his home in Grand Junction, Colorado on May 14, 2023.

Jim enjoyed his many years working in the coal mining industry. He loved staying active in the outdoors and spending time with his dog Meiko.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Jill Warren Gluesing; their five children, Justin Gluesing (Amy), Joy Bastian (Shawn), Diana Williamson (Jimmy), Chris Taylor (Andrea), and Tiffany Brinkerhoff (Jake); 14 grandchildren; as well as his sister, Virginia Wardle (Joel).

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Karolyn.

Per Jim’s wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service. A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11:00-12:00 (noon) at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Cremation services will follow. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Jim online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
