It’s time to head back outside for the Price City’s Culture Connection Summer Concert Series on Thursday, June 8 at 7:00 pm. Price City Council Member, Layne Miller was able to stop by Castle Country Radio to share all the details about the event.

The first group to kick off the summer concert season this year is Johnny Utah. “I’ve heard Johnny Utah, and my favorite group of all time is the Beach Boys and when I read Johnny Utah’s surf guitar rock and roll band, I don’t think there’s anything better,” said Miller. The group plays some original and cool surf covers of 80s songs and are sure to kick off the season in style.

Then on June 15 at 7:00 pm the stage will feature Summer and Cayden Bell who will feature some great country music for guests to enjoy all evening. The following week on June 22 the Fabled Folks will take over the stage. “Fabled Folks, acoustic, Celtic, pop fusion,” said Miller. They are from the Provo area and are highly influenced by bluegrass and folk.

The outdoor summer concerts are a great way to unwind from the hustle and bustle of a busy work week. Spectators are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the band. Remember to invite family members, friends and neighbors out for an entertaining evening at the Price City Peace Gardens on Main Street.
