Earl served in the National Guard. He worked for the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad as a carman for 24 years. He also had the Hansen Roofing company since 1960; David and Kerry own and run it today. He also has been involved with the Spring Glen Canal company for over 30 years. There are also the hobby farms, Black Angus cows, and hay fields all around Spring Glen with his boys. If something needed to be done, call Earl and he would make sure it was figured out.
