It’s time once again for another session of the Culture Connection Summer Concert Series on Thursday, June 29 at 7:00 pm at the Price City Peace Gardens with the group called Rustic Poets. Program Coordinator, Ted Hinckley took time to speak over the telephone with Castle Country Radio to share all the concert details.
The group Rustic Poets are a hard-working band that plays three to four times a week around the country. “I knew them in a Ska group, they wanted to work and so they also formed a country group. Every time I talk to them, they’ve just done a week in South Dakota or three days up in Jackson Hole. These guys are busy guys and what they do is they do classic and modern country stuff. They don’t Ska it but they come with the energy that they put in the Ska show, they put into this country show. It’s a high, high, energy country music show, the Rustic Poets, they are a lot of fun,” stated Hinckley. Our area loves country music so this group is sure to entertain everyone of all ages.
This four-person band is going to bring such energy to the stage that guests are sure to get up and dance the night away. “Their brand of country is, there’s a reason these guys are playing three/four times a week, their show is really fun. I use to know them when they were working at banks and whatever, but they are so busy, they’re just being a band, you know they’re a full-time band,” said Hinckley. So dust off those boots, and get the cowboy hat ready for a very entertaining night of country music.
The free outdoor summer concerts are a great way to unwind from the hustle and bustle of a busy work week. Spectators are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the band. Remember to invite family members, friends and neighbors out for an entertaining evening at the Price City Peace Garden on Main Street.
