It’s time once again for another Helper Saturday Vibes event set to take place on Saturday, July 8 at 5:00 pm on Helper’s Historic Main Street. Castle Country Radio spoke with Vendor Manager, Rachel Barbee to get all the details.
The event is going to feature two bands, Drusky and Lean Canteen taking the stage on the Main Street Stage. The first band, Drusky will take the stage at 5:00 pm, as Barbee explains, “So they are Indie/Emo Rock, I think they are really going to be super, super, fun for you guys to come and check out. Hopefully, some great, likable, memorable, songs that you know.” The second band, Lean Canteen, will take the stage at 8:00 pm. They are a Rockabilly Band from Northern Utah, who were inspired by classic rock and country music.
Don’t forget at Helper Saturday Vibes there is always fun activities available for the children. “Make sure you bring your kids down to check out the Imagination Station that’s just located right in the Zions Bank City Hall parking lot. Great activities for the kids, we’ve had some great success with that. Our last event we had almost maxed out all of our supplies – so great turn out for kids to, they made really fun hand puppets,” said Barbee. This is a free activity for children to enjoy during the evening.
As always there will be several food trucks on site so dinner can be had during the event. “So we’ve got Green Chile House back. I know many, many, of you are always asking, when are they going to be back? Well there here, this Saturday, so come check them out. We’ve also got Dee’s, Mambo, Rubens and Angel’s again,” say Barbee. There is sure to be something delicious to eat during the evening performances.
Guests are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the bands. The next Helper Saturday Vibes will be held on July 22. Individuals wanting more information about Helper Saturday Vibes can visit their Facebook page or their website.
