PRICE-Our loving mother, sister, grandmother and lifelong friend, Debra Lynette Wells, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 9, 2023.
Lynette was born September 3, 1954 in Price, Utah to Martin and Anna Faye Fausett Vuksinick. She married the love of her life, Kevin L. Wells, on February 14, 1981; they had three children, Justin, Josh and Jessica.
Lynette was a hard worker that never let grass grow under her feet. She was known for being a homemaker, having a clean house and vehicles, and cleaned pretty much everything. She had a huge heart, who made her home welcome to anyone in need. Lynette welcomed three children into her home that were not from her marriage, Kyle, Angel and King. She raised them as if they were her own.
Mom and Dad contributed mightily to the city of Wellington. Dad was the president of the little league team and mom helped with this. They took care of the fields, concession stands, coached the Single Stop team, and mom helped with the score shack. Mom worked for head start driving school bus and she dearly loved the kids.
Her daughter Jessie cared for her in some very difficult times and deserves a ton of recognition for caring for mom.
Lynette is survived by her children, Josh (Jessica) Wells, Jessie, King and Angel; sister, Vanessa (Ben) Benedict; granddaughter, Kaitlyn; and her best friend, Joni Westbrook.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kevin Wells; son, Justin Wells; nephew, Kyle Hamann; sister, Melanie Vuksinick.
Lynette will be deeply missed for her spitfire personality, kind heart, and giving nature. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the ICU team at Castleview Hospital and Dr. Callahan.
