Edward Anthony Sandoval, “Eddie,” passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2023 at the age of 67 in Billings, Montana.
Eddie was born on July 13, 1955 in Dragerton, Utah to parents Raymond Sandoval and Andrea Nava-Sandoval. Eddie grew up and lived in Sunnyside, Utah along with his three siblings, Louis, Charlotte, and Annette. He joined the United States Air Force in 1973, after graduating from East Carbon High School. He later received an associates degree from the University of Alaska, Anchorage.
Eddie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 27 years in various locations. Retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 2000 after serving as the Senior Enlisted Advisor for the United States Air Force Research Laboratories at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Following his military service, he worked for the United States Postal Service in various locations and for the United States Department of Agriculture in Price, Utah.
His best times were spent fishing, golfing, bowling, and with his family and friends. He also spent a multitude of time being a referee for youth basketball and football. He loved the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Lakers, and you could always find him in his chair with a game on. He had a love for all animals and adored his pets, Starbo, Kenai, Zeus, and Snuggles. Eddie was known to be the life of the party and could always be found dancing, singing, or raising a ruckus of laughter. His love for music was cosmic and it wasn’t unusual to see him driving with the windows down and the music up as loud as it could go.
He is survived by his three children, Keith (Mary) Sandoval, Falls Church, Virginia, Eric Sandoval, Seattle, Washington, and Chelsea (Christopher) Pierce, Wasilla, Alaska; siblings, Louis (Cyndee) Sandoval, Price, Utah and Annette Sandoval, Price, Utah; uncle, Herman Nava, Colorado Springs, Colorado; aunt, Dolores Sandoval, Price, Utah; grandchildren, Sofia and Samuel Sandoval; nieces, Shannon (Paul) Bentley, Bozeman, Montana and Natalie Sandoval, Price, Utah; nephews, Jeff (Amy) Sandoval, St. George, Utah, Greg Sandoval, Redlands, California, and Anthony (Candy) Sandoval, Sacramento, California; partner, Victoria Rodriguez, Billings, Montana; and a host of other relatives and friends all over the world.
