Father, husband, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend, Gregory William Irvine, age 72, departed from this world on August 08, 2023.

He was born August 18, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah to James M. and Leah Putney Irvine. Married Josie Irvine October 30, 2001. He was in the United States Marine Corp from 1966 to 1976, where he was a Gunnery Sergeant and spent time overseas, serving our great country.

Greg retired from Pacific Corp with over 30 years of service.

Greg was a lover of all things outdoors. He had a long-time passion for fishing, farming, and animals. He loved having his grandchildren join him on the farm. He was a real history buff. He spent much time expanding his knowledge base and loved war documentaries. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Josie Irvine; children, Lisa Evensen, Laurie (Mark) Deis, Jon (Amy) Irvine, Sophia Olsen; 9 grandchildren, Ashley Evensen, Cierra Schmitt, Chloe Gregersen, Dakota Irvine, Wyatt Irvine, Josh Irvine, Gage Olsen, Skylinn Olsen, Anson Olsen; four great-grandchildren; brother, Bob (Cherry) Irvine; sister, Susan (Kent) Ferlin.

Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carol DeVries, Sandra (Gary) Clayton; grandchildren, Kameo Gregersen Schuyler, Jonathan Dennis Irvine, Darian West Gregersen.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at the Cleveland Town Cemetery. Immediately following the graveside service, please join the family for a light lunch and memories at the Cleveland Town Hall, located at 100 West Main Street, Cleveland, UT 84518.
