It’s time once again for another Helper Saturday Vibes event set to take place on Saturday, August 12 at 5:00 pm on Helper’s Historic Main Street. Castle Country Radio spoke with Vendor Manager, Rachel Barbee to get all the details.
“This is another one of our wonderful themed events. So we’re going to have a Brazilian Carnival vibe with our music opener which is Samba Fogo and then we’re also going to have Latin Roots closing out the stage. Huge band, where talking 8 – 9 people in both these bands so its going to be really fun to come out and dance,” said Barbee. Both talented bands are sure to get the party started on Saturday night.
Helper Saturday Vibes always has activities for the children to enjoy throughout the evening. “Definitely go ahead and check out our Kid’s Activity Booth just right next to City Hall, across the street from the park. Every single one of these has been so much fun. Ashley Vincent from Sally Mauro Elementary School who runs the Art Program is in charge of it and she does a great job bringing the fun for the kids,” said Barbee. This activity for the children is free.
Don’t forget to take a stroll along the city’s historic Main Street during the evening’s event. “All of the Main Street businesses are open and you definitely want to go ahead and check those guys out. Go check out a gallery you haven’t seen. Go stroll down the street it really is a beautiful place to just stroll and hang out,” stated Barbee.
Guests are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the bands. The next Helper Saturday Vibes will be held on August 26. Individuals wanting more information about Helper Saturday Vibes can visit their Facebook page or their website.
