The Carbon Lady Dinos soccer team moved to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in region play on Tuesday as they fell to the Canyon View Falcons 3-0.

Canyon View put one goal in the back of the net in the first half and put two more on the scoreboard in the second half to secure the 3-0 win as they handed the Dinos their first region loss of the season.

Maya Nichols, Erin Hallows and Hadlee Farmer each scored one goal for the Falcons in the win.

For the Lady Dinos Allie Smith had one shot on goal and Amiah Timothy had three. Fortune Ward registered 13 saves in goal for the Dinos.

The Dinos have a quartet of games left before the end of the month, with the school year starting it’s time to ramp things up with two games coming in each of the next two weeks. Things will get started on Tuesday when they travel to Nephi to face the Juab Wasps. Then on Thursday the 24 the Delta Rabbits come to town.

The following week on August 29 starts on the road in Richfield and they wrap up the month of August on the 31 when Manti comes to Price.

Both home games with Delta and Manti will start at 4:00 on the Carbon High School soccer field.
