Lady Dino volleyball got back at it for the 2023-2024 season at home on Tuesday night to face the Union Cougars. Carbon fell to Union in their first match at last years State Championships and maybe had a little revenge on their mind, taking the three sets to one win in front of the home crowd.

Carbon finished last season with a 16-12 overall record going 4-4 in Region 12 play. This season the conference will look a little different, but the Dinos are wanting to get back and make a run for the title.

Carbon came out in the first two sets taking care of the Cougars by the same 25-19 score in both. In the third set, Union pushed the Dinos taking the 25-21 win, but Carbon jumped back in the fourth taking the 25-18 win and securing the 3-1 victory.

The Dinos will be off until next Tuesday when they will travel to Nephi to face Juab. They will then return home on August 29 to face the Richfield Wildcats.
