Anita Jean Nicholson, age 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the early morning hours of Monday, August 21, 2023 at her home in Carbonville, Utah.

Anita was born on January 4, 1952 in Price, Utah to John C. and Hana Liddell Winn.

She married Art Nicholson on April 6, 1973 in Price, Utah.

Throughout Anita’s life she enjoyed gardening, taking photos, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all; until we see you again.

Anita is survived by her husband, Art Nicholson of Carbonville, Utah; sons, Kim (Sarah) Spear of Helper, Utah and Russell (Laine) Nicholson of Price, Utah; brother, Richard Winn of California; sister, Kathleen Lawrence of Cedar City, Utah; grandchildren, Brianna (Marcus), Courtney (Travis), Nash (Shaylee), Asher Baham, and Judah Baham; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Hana Liddell Winn; and brothers, Gary Callaway and Travis Winn.

Per Anita’s wishes, there will not be a formal funeral service. A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Price City Cemetery.
