Carbon’s girl’s soccer team has played six games this season compiling a .500 record at 3-3. The latest game was Thursday when the Delta Rabbits came to Price, giving the Dinos their third loss of the season 2-0.

This week we will find out how the Dinos stack up with the rest of the 3A teams in the state when the Utah High School Activities Association releases the initial RPI rankings for soccer on Thursday.

The Rabbits came out in the first half putting a goal up and keeping Carbon off the scoreboard, going into the locker room with a 1-0 lead.

Carbon couldn’t find any offense in the second half and defensively, Fortune Ward collected 15 saves in goal, but Delta found the back of the goal once more in half two closing out the game and taking the 2-0 win.

The Lady Dinos have two games left in the month of August, Tuesday at Richfield and home for Manti on Thursday.

The contest with Manti is scheduled for 4:00 p.m..
