The Dinos were back on the field on Friday night to face the Ogden Tigers. The Tiger’s rushing attack was unstoppable as they racked up 243 yards on the ground and handed the Dinos a 55-0 loss.

The Dinos were coming off a win over Grand last week 21-12 on the road. This is the second year in a row they have faced off with the Tigers. Last season in Ogden, the Dinos suffered a 41-0 loss. This year’s Tiger squad had 18 returning seniors from last season and have collected a 3-0 record.

Carbon had a rough night on both sides of the ball only collecting 37 yards total offense. Stockton Kennedy got the start but Paxton Falk got playing time in the contest as well.

The Tigers jumped on the scoreboard quickly Max Trujillo ran one in from 33 yards out. and Ogden was just getting started as they ended the first quarter with a 27-0 lead.

Ogden added three more scores in quarter number two pushing the lead to 48-0 at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Dinos defense held them off of the scoreboard, but still could not get the offense going.

Moving into the fourth and final quarter Carbon held the Tigers off the board until, with three minutes left Solomon Wilkins ran one in from 15  yards out capping the score at 55-0 ending the evening for the Dinos.

The Dinos are back at it this Friday as they make the road trip to Bear River.  The Bears play in 4A and have a record of 1-2, with losses at the hands of Morgan and Box Elder and the only win coming in the opening game of the season against Cedar Valley.
