Lady Dinos soccer was back at it on Tuesday in Richfield to face the Wildcats in a region tilt. between Amiah Timothy and Fortune Ward, they were a two-women wrecking crew in the 2-0 win for Carbon.

The Dinos sit at 4-3 overall and 3-2 in region play and on Thursday we get our first look at the Utah High School Activities Association’s RPI rankings.

The first half was a quiet one with neither team able to find the back of the net.

In the second half,  Timothy was able to put a pair between the pipes to put Carbon up 2-0, and in goal, Ward shut the door on the Wildcats with 10 saves.

Ada Bradford and Lydia Lancaster had assists on each of Timothy’s goals and Ward registered her 4 shutout of the season.

The Lady Dinos will be back on the pitch on Thursday when they welcome Manti to Price, gametime is set for 4:00 p.m..

Thursday morning the RPI will be released check back with Castle Country Radio for the rankings once they are available.
