Our beloved son, brother, uncle, and father, Victor Pacheco, III, passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 35. Victor brought joy to so many people with his infectious laughter and gift of humor. His memory will forever live on in our hearts.
Born to Mia Ness Coprich and Victor Pacheco, Jr. on January 14, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Victor grew up in West Valley City and Ogden; later residing in Salt Lake City.
Victor played many little league and school sports including football where he earned the nickname ‘the tank’. He graduated from Two Rivers High School in 2006.
Affectionately known as ‘Lil’ Vic,’ Victor embraced his Catholic faith and was often seen wearing a rosary. He found joy in simple pleasures, including a hearty bowl of menudo, cheering for the Utah Jazz and LA Dodgers, and wearing flat-brim hats. He had a deep appreciation for rap music and loved engaging in friendly rap battles. Victor enjoyed camping and fishing and he loved dream catchers. He cared so deeply for his family, friends, and the homeless community.
Though Victor faced his own battles, his family takes solace in the belief that his pain has now transformed into everlasting peace.
Victor is survived by his son, Kyson Molloy. He leaves behind his parents, Victor, Jr. and Lori Pacheco and Mia and Charles Coprich. He is also remembered by his grandparents, Victor Pacheco, Sr., Terry and Jan Hogensen, and Diane Starzel. Victor’s memory lives on through his siblings, Ashlea Taylor, Demetria Coprich, Carly Rowe (Scott), Toby Pacheco, Camrie Coprich, and Mariah Coprich, and his nieces and nephews, Julian, Ezra, Grayson, Harper, Eliana, and Kehlani; Godparents, Theresa Trujillo and Jeff Pacheco Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Victor’s memory is joined by his faithfully departed relatives, who await him in peace.
The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the dedicated nurses, doctors, and medical staff at the University of Utah Hospital for their exceptional care.
