Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and longtime friend, Mavis Catherine Catlin Wilson, age 90, passed away at the Heirloom Inn in Price.

She was born May 4, 1933 in Oakley, Idaho to Quartis Lloyd and Isabella Fontella Sherman Catlin.  In 1951, Mavis married William Crocco in Helper, Utah.  They had three children, William, Marla and Guy prior to their divorce.  In 1972, she married Reid Clair Wilson in Elko, Nevada; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Reid preceded her in death on June 28, 2015 after 43 years of marriage.

Mavis is survived by her children, William Crocco, Carbonville, Marla (Terry) Marshall, Grantsville, UT, Guy (Kathi) Crocco, Horner, W.V.; grandchildren, Tara Long & Zack Carter, S. Jordan, UT, Chris (Sammy) Marshall, Layton, UT, Mirielle Crocco, New York, NY, Michelle Crocco (Will Leffler), Cary, IL; her sister, Ardith Winn, Herriman, UT; step-son, Tod (Kristi) Wilson, Carbonville; grandchildren, Brandon Wilson, Carbonville, Mallory (Johnny) Dunn, Kenilworth; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Mavis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Reid Wilson; granddaughter, Melissa Hortman; sister, Shirley (Roy) Cooley; and her brothers, Bud (Donna) Catlin and Wendell (Jolene) Catlin.

Funeral service will be Monday, September 11, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at the old Price Fifth Ward Building (located at 545 East 400 North) in Price where the family will receive friends at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the Cliffview Cemetery in Price.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are welcome to share memories of Mavis online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
