The Eastern Utah Expo – First Annual Tattoo Expo & Local Business Showcase was held on August 25 through August 27 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds Event Center and officials were happy to report that it was a huge success.
“It’s the first time anything like this has gone on in this community. You know there’s not a lot of exposure to the tattoo community so it was great, it was a pleasant surprise for sure both the amount of people that came out from the community, and the amount of artists that showed up, and the level of talent in the comprised field. The artists were the upmost professional with everybody, made everybody feel welcomed, it was very informative and they took care of everybody very well,” said Coordinator, Jeff Holdaway. He was thrilled with the amount of people that came out all three days to either get tattooed or to just walk thru the various booths and enjoy the atmosphere.
Officials are busily closing out the event for this year, but they are planning on returning next year again. “We’ll be announcing here in the next month or two, after we settle down from this, but it will be early 2024 that we’ll be doing a show next year,” said Coordinator, Jeff Passarella. There were over 30 artists that made this convention a huge success, as well as all, the product vendors and food trucks that were on hand.
