Helper Saturday Vibes is coming to an end this month with only two gatherings left this season. There will be one held this Saturday, September 9 and the last one scheduled for Saturday, September 23. Castle Country Radio was able to speak over the telephone with Vendor Manager, Rachel Barbee to get all the details for this weekend’s event.
“Yep, just two more, so definitely make sure if you haven’t come out, this is the perfect time. The nicest weather, you know you can have a jacket on at night, just relax and walk around. So these are your two, come check us out, for our final two,” said Barbee. The event is held on Helper’s Historic Main Street Park with numerous vendors set up along Main Street throughout the night.
The first band, Timmy The Teeth, will kick things off at 5:00 pm on the Main Street Park Stage. “Alright, so our opener is Timmy The Teeth. Trying to do a deep dive on these guys and they describe themselves as Cowboy from the Crypt. So it’s kind of got that rock and roll, a little bit of that country feel, but they’re Cowboy from the Crypt,” said Barbee. The band will entertain the crowd till 7:00 pm, before an hour intermission break, then the second band will take the stage at 8:00 pm.
The second band, Meander Cat have been here before and organizers are thrilled to have them take the stage again. “So Meander Cat is rock and roll, they’re real fun, real dancey. If you were at our last event, you know the park was filled with people dancing. So make sure you come out and rock and roll, and dance the night away,” said Barbee. This band is out of Moab, Utah, they are looking forward to sharing their love for music and energy with the audience.
As always, don’t worry about dinner as several food trucks will be at the event. “The food trucks this time, definitely come check out Country Confections again; Dee’s Kitchen, Mamba Truck, and Angel’s Craving,” said Barbee. Don’t forget to bring the family as there will be children’s activities at the City Hall parking lot, which is across the street from the Main Street Park.
Guests are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the bands. The last Helper Saturday Vibes will be held on September 23. Individuals wanting more information about Helper Saturday Vibes can visit their Facebook page or their website.
