Scott Lee Davies, age 65, passed away on August 31, 2023 in Provo, Utah due to unforeseen medical complications.

He was born on January 5, 1958 to Jack and Delores Davies in Price, Utah. He was the youngest of five children. Scott was a son of Carbon County and loved living there.  He got into coal mining early in adulthood and worked his way to becoming a Miner Operator.  Scott loved every minute of that job and if anyone was ever looking for work, he tried to get them working in the mines. He went ten solid years without missing a day of work.

Scott enjoyed boating, water skiing, target shooting, and giving people a hard time.  He loved any opportunity to spend time with his kids and his grandkids. He also loved his pack of malamutes and his mouthy parrot.

He is survived by his two sons, Jason and Bryon; his grandchildren, Ethan, Andy, and Harlee; and many nephews and nieces.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Dolores; and his siblings, John, Charles, and Debbie.

MEMORIAL SERVICE, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2023, 11:00 a.m., MITCHELL FUNERAL HOME (233 EAST MAIN STREET) IN PRICE WHERE THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS BEGINNING AT 10:00 a.m.
