
Over 100 runners from 19 schools made their way to Nephi for the Juab Invitational for cross country. Emery’s Camdon Larsen earned the top spot on the boy’s side and for the girl’s Gentry Christiansen finished the day in ninth.
Timpview claimed the top spot for the boy’s division. Freemont, Lehi, Canyon View, and Northridge made up the top five. Emery ended the day in seventh.
Larsen’s time of 15:05.8 was over :20 ahead of Timpview’s Teagan McCune. Dillian Larsen, Jack Christiansen, Mason Hurdsman, and Monty Christiansen made up the Spartans finishing top five.
Timpview also claimed the top finish for the girls followed by Freemont, Mountain View, North Ridge and Box Elder, Emery finished in seventh.
Gentry Christiansen finished the race in ninth as the top Lady Spartan finisher. Addie Hurst, Addyson Guymon, Skylee Guymon, and Carlie Hurst made up the top five for Emery.
Next up is the Utah Pre-state Meet at the Regional Sports Complex on September 13.
