The temperatures are cooling down around the Castle Country area which means it’s time to install the bubble on the Desert Wave Pool. Aquatic Coordinator, Tamara Gray stopped by Castle Country Radio to share all the details with listeners.
“We’re starting to slow down a little bit with the Fall coming on but we do have a weekend full of warm weather and the bubble is still off,” said Gray. It will be the end of September before the bubble will be installed so folks do have a few more weeks before that takes place.
There will be another session of swim lessons beginning soon. “We offer swim lessons year-round so you can start your kids early, get them comfortable in the water, get them to learn to be safe around the water. So we do offer those year round, we are starting our Fall Sessions, the first one will start on September 11, and they’re two days a week – Mondays and Wednesday or Tuesdays and Thursdays. You still get eight lessons and the session runs for four weeks,” said Gray. The cost per session is $35.00 and are 30-minute sessions, twice a week.
Fall Sessions for swim lessons are scheduled as follows:
Session 1 September 11 to October 5
Session 2 October 9 to November 2
Session 3 November 6 to December 1
Did you know that there is a Barracuda Swim Team that you can participate in when you finish up your swimming lessons? “We have a local age group swim team that competes around the state and they meet up. We prefer you to have your swim lesson certifications but you can come try it out. We let them come try it out for a week for free to see what ability and skill levels, if its for them. If not, we can get them into swim lessons a few times to work on those techniques,” said Gray.
