The C.A.R.E. Coalition is so excited to be hosting their annual Family Field Day on Monday, September 18 at 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Washington Park. All families in the Castle Country area are invited to attend this free event.

“All events are always free and the idea is for families to come out and enjoy spending time together, create those family bonds, family memories, and just be able to have a good time,” said Event Representative, Kobi Prettyman. The coalition is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing a safe environment that empowers youth to be healthy, successful and compassionate members of the community.

Families can expect three hours of food, games, and music. “So there will be free pizza and drinks available for everyone who comes. Then we have some bigger games that we’ve brought down that include like laser tag and wrecking ball game, and just other inflatable, family-friendly games that people can route through and attend. I think some of them might have a sign-up to make the wait not be so long. But we just want families to come, enjoy spending time together, play on the games, have some dinner, and just have a good evening,” explained Prettyman. Folks are urged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on while enjoying the evening’s festivities.
