Emery Soccer has had a less-than-ideal 2023 season, as they are still searching for their first win. On Tuesday they were in Cedar City to face off against the No. 2 Canyon View Falcons, taking a 9-0 loss.

Emery is young this season, with just five seniors listed on their roster and even though they are sitting in the No. 17 spot in the RPI they will still have a chance to make some noise before the final game of the season on October 3.

The Falcons came out quickly in the first half putting seven goals on the scoreboard. In the second half, they would find the back of the net twice taking the 9-0 win over Emery.

Emery plays in Region 12 and still has opportunities ahead of them as they prepare to face Delta (No. 6), Manti (No. 1), Richfield (No. 7), and Carbon (No. 4).

First up is a trip to Delta on Thursday. The Spartans won’t be back in Castle Dale until next Thursday, September 21, when they face North Sanpete.
