Carbon Dino soccer was on the road Thursday in  Cedar City to face off with the Canyon View Falcons. Canyon View is the top team in 3A with a 10-2 record. Carbon couldn’t answer the Falcon charge falling 5-1.

Carbon is at No. 5 at 7-4, and before the Canyon View loss were sitting on a three game win streak., in fact half of their losses have come from the Falcons this season.

Canyon View came out firing in the first half putting three goals in the back of the net. Mia Crompton would score the lone Dino goal in the first half, and Canyon View took a 3-1  lead into the half.

In the second half it was all Falcons as they put two more through the pipes, and defensively shut down Carbon taking a 5-0 win.

The Dinos have just five games left in the regular season, which ends on October 3.

Next week they will be home for Juab on Tuesday and will travel to Delta to take on the Rabbits on Thursday.

The contest with Juab is set to begin at 4:00 p.m..
