
Glen Albert Clark passed away September 18, 2023 at his home in Price, Utah surrounded by his loving family. Glen was born on January 25, 1934 in Provo Utah. He was one of 7 children. Glen proudly served in the US Army Infantry during the Korean Conflict, joining in 1951 until he was honorably discharged in 1954.
Glen married Lila Haws on December 7th, 1953. Together they had six children. Lila later passed on February 17, 1991. Glen married Esther Willis Hunter on September 1, 1993 and was blessed to join two families together with a total of 10 children between them.
Glen lived and worked in Utah for much of his life. In 1965, he relocated his family to Lander, Wyoming while working for US Steel and Western Nuclear. In 1983, he and his wife Lila purchased the Holiday Inn Motel in Lander. He operated the Motel until he retired in Green River, Utah where he continued to work and drive truck for the Dunham Farm. In 2011, Glen and his wife Esther moved to Price, Utah where he lived out his days. Glen loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and hunting.
He was very committed to his family and was looked up to by all. He was willing to lend a hand, shoulder to lean on, and give advice, whether or not it was asked for. Glen was also a proud member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he had the opportunity to serve two missions, work in the Temple, and filled many other callings.
Glen is survived by his wife, Esther Clark; his son, Verl Clark (Debra); daughter, Dayle Bird (Richard); son, Rick Clark (Barbara); daughter, Ronie Conley; son, Terry Clark (Peggy); son, Tracy Hunter (Lisa); daughter, Gwenn Ambrose; daughter, Terrie Rytter (Jeff); daughter, Hawley Hunter; and son, Johnny Starzel; sister, Afton Warr; 45 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen L. and Laura R. Clark; wife, Lila; son, Glen Lewis Clark; and six siblings.
Funeral service, Friday, September 22, 2023, 10:00 a.m., Price 9th Ward (150 S. 500 E.) with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Provo City Cemetery (610 S. State St.) at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral of Price and Huntington where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Glen online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
