Just one more match sits on the tennis schedule before tournament time starts in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday. Juab came to town on “Senior Night” for the Dinos and unfortunately Carbon didn’t win any matches as Juab earned the 6-0 win. Juab has yet to lose a match this season with a perfect 16-0 overall record.

Tuesday was a day to celebrate the seniors on this years team as they will say goodbye to Audrey Hatch, Lyndie Richardson, Aleeya Idris, Allena Ison, Izabelle Pugliese, Ella Anderson, and Veronica Cartwright.

Carbon sits at 4-9 this season and have just one regular season meet left when they travel to Delta on Thursday.

The Lady Dinos couldn’t get anything going against a tough opponent in Juab, winning just 18 sets in their six matches. The Wasps have a wealth of talent, so much so that Emmy Lovell who played in first doubles against Carbon, is the defending 3A state champion in third singles.

After the road trip to Delta Thursday, Carbon will travel to Mt. Pleasant next Tuesday and Wednesday for the Region 12 tournament.
