Castleview Hospital now has a new service called Healing Horizons which supports individuals struggling with addiction and those in recovery. Not only is this a new service but they have combined with WorkPoint Occupational Medicine to merge their offices. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Lead Provider, Michael Clark to learn more details.

“Castleview Healing Horizons is a new service line of Castleview Hospital that works in conjunction with Bridge Program that we have in the ER to kind of support medication treatments for those who are in addiction and recovery. Then WorkPoint, we’ve been here all along, we just had the opportunity to expand and provide more hours for our employers in the community,” said Clark. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Fridays from 8:00 am to noon.

The key component for Castleview Healing Horizons is working closely with the Bridge Program that’s managed through the local ER. “Anybody can go into the ER to talk to them about the Bridge Program, if they’re suffering from opioid use disorder, or they’re struggling with drugs or things like that. We can get them on a medication, no cost to them, and then they transfer into a referral that Castleview Healing Horizon we can take care of that,” said Clark. A partnership with the University of Utah brought The Bridge Program to our local ER and the services offered through the program are grant-funded. With the increased hours of operation, WorkPoint still offers its amazing services to employers in the area. “Everything from your drug screens, all the way to pre-employment. We can get really specialized in there as far as audiograms, PFTs, and fit-testing. We’ve got two locations for that on down at Emery Medical Center and then here in Price,” said Clark.
