On the road Tuesday in Manti to take on the No. 3 team in 3A, the Lady Spartan soccer squad is looking for that first win this season. The Templars jumped out to a 6-0 first half lead and added four more in the second half, handing the Spartans the 10-0 loss.

Manti’s duo of Kaylee Perry and Taylie Mickelsen each scored three goals in the Templar win, with Cambrie Thompson adding a pair of her own.

The Spartans sit in the No.17 spot in the RPI with a record of 0-12, ahead of Summit Academy.

We are nearing the end of the regular season with just four contests left. They will be back home on Thursday to face the No. 14 North Sanpete Hawks. No. 13 Juab will be in Castle Dale on Tuesday and then they will travel to take on Richfield on Thursday, September 28. Emery wraps up the regular season on October 3 when they welcome the Carbon Dinos to town for “Senior Night”.
