As the 2023 golf season starts to wind down, Region 12 made the trip to Cedar City and the Cedar Ridge Golf Course, the home of the Canyon View Falcons. The Dinos have found themselves at the top of the leaderboard in the last couple of meets and this time out they landed in second place tied with Richfield at 323.

Juab took the top spot with 320, Carbon and Richfield were just three strokes back. Delta with 329 and Emery with 338 rounded out the top five.

Dayton King continued his tremendous season, shooting a 77, claiming the top finish for the Dinos. Kyler Clark with an 80, Rydge Butler with an 81, and Cole Callahan with an 85 made up the top four finishers for Carbon.

Next week, on Thursday, Region 12 will get a look at Meadow Brook Golf Course, home of this year’s State Championships.

The final region match of the year will be at Cove View Golf Course, home of the Richfield Wildcats, on October 3. The Championships at Meadow Brook will take place over two days on October 11 & 12.
