Emery golf made the trip with the other members of Region 12 to the Cedar Ridge Golf Course in Cedar City, the home course of the Canyon View Falcons. With the season winding down, the Spartans seem to be playing better at the right time, shooting a 338 team score, 18 strokes off of first-place Juab’s score.

Juab finished the day with a 320. Carbon and Richfield tied for second shooting a 323. Delta carded a 329 and Emery landed in fifth.

Alex Hanson earned the top finishing spot for the Spartans with a 79. Joey Leonard and Kade Larsen tied at 86, and Champ Justice shot an 87 to round out the top-scoring four for Emery.

Thursday all of Region 12 will get a look at Meadow Brook, the home of the State Championships this year.

The next week they will be at Cove View home of the Richfield Wildcats for the final region tournament of the season.
