Warren Edward Dillon, 67, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away on September 18, 2023. He was born on July 5, 1956. Warren was a hardworking family man who loved his children and grandchildren with his whole heart. He was fun-loving as seen in so many sweet moments captured in hearts and photos.

Warren dedicated 42 years of his life to a career on the railroad, working for the Rio Grande Railroad, Southern Pacific Railroad, and the Union Pacific Railroad. His love for trains was contagious and he passed on this passion to his children. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and passed that passion on to his little sister as well as his niece and nephew.

Warren was known for his selflessness and generosity. Although some would say he had a hardheaded approach to things, those that knew and loved him knew he was firm in his beliefs and was not ashamed to show it. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need, making him a true example of goodness. He had a deep-seated faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and found solace in his religious beliefs. In his free time, Warren cherished spending time with his family. He had a love for martial arts and stunts, often impressing others with his skills in walking on his hands and using nun chucks. He enjoyed sharing stories and memories with his loved ones.

Warren is survived by his sister, Melody Anderson (Gary); son, David John Dillon; daughter, Makaylee Colleen Dillon; son, Richard Nelson (Yukiko); daughter, Nikita Graffis (Daniel); nephew, Houston Lui (Fiona); niece, Cortney Denison (Josh); grandchildren, Rochelle, Jesse, Hannah, Nico, Fandiesa, and Thomas; great nieces and nephews; and as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Ruth Dillon; sisters, Sherrie Dillon and Rosemary Dillon; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Warren will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, selflessness, and love for family will continue to inspire us all.
