Eastern Utah Community Credit Union (EUCCU) is excited to be hosting their Sixth Annual Pumpkin Festival on Wednesday, October 18 at 4:00 pm. EUCCU Representative, Paige Anderson stopped by Castle County Radio to share all the details of the event.

“I’ll admit on this one, this is kind of my little pet project that I started. This is our Sixth Annual Pumpkin Festival and I just love Halloween, I’m sure I’m not alone with that, so being able to decorate for Halloween and get all the pumpkins out there, and see all the kids out there in their costumes, it’s just a joy for me,” stated Anderson. This event is open to all children in the local area and it’s a way for EUCCU to give back to the community.

The event will be held at the Price Branch on 675 East 100 North in Price. “So we are setting up a little pumpkin patch behind our Price Branch and pumpkins are available, you can buy one for $3.00 or two of them for $5.00 – save you a little bit of money there. All the money that we raise from selling these pumpkins go to Carbon Caring for Kids this year,” said Anderson. This will be a great opportunity for families to come enjoy picking out their pumpkins for the Halloween season.

“Along with our pumpkin selling in the pumpkin patch, there’s also plenty of photo opportunities to get those nice Fall photos in. Our mascot the Piggy Bank will be there so you can get some good photos with him.  As well as, we’re going to have games, and candy, and prizes, and so many fun things for the kids and the whole family to enjoy,” explained Anderson. The event will begin at 4:00 pm till 6:00 pm so there is plenty of time for families to swing by EUCCU to purchase a pumpkin.
