Our beloved husband, father, brother, and son, Joseph Carmen Polito, age 63, left this earthly realm on October 20, 2023.

He was born on September 18, 1960 to Carl and Lois Polito in Evanston, Wyoming.  Joe grew up and spent the majority of his life in East Carbon, UT.

Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, rock hunting and he was an avid collector of coins, baseball, basketball and football cards.  He was always regaling friends and family with stories and making people laugh.  He was the light of our lives and said that his life didn’t begin until he married his wife Melissa Lynn Dickerson on January 1, 2001 in East Carbon, Utah.  Together they raised two beautiful and talented daughters, Chenoa Kay and Ehrinn Lois.  He was always so proud of his girls and always bragging to anyone who would listen about them.

He was survived by his wife, Melissa Lynn Polito of East Carbon UT; daughters, Chenoa Kay (Tallon) Morrey of Wellington UT,  Ehrinn Lois Polito (Kriss Spatholt) of Price UT;  mother, Lois May Polito of East Carbon, UT; sisters, Cheryl Polito of East Carbon, UT,  Toni Polito East Carbon, UT,  Teresa Polito of Okemah, OK, Debbie Polito of Green River, UT,  Libby Helmer, Ono Valley AZ; and many nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by father, Carl Polito East Carbon, UT; uncle, Jimmy Polito Price, UT; aunt, Jeanette Polito Price, UT; and aunt, Marie Polito Sunnyside, UT.

Graveside service, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at the East Carbon City Cemetery 451 Denver Ave East Carbon, UT.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price Tuesday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
