Barbara (Worthen) Lemons, age 76, passed away on October 24, 2023. She was born on October 29, 1946 in Price, Utah to Stella (Fox) and Ray Worthen. She married her sweetheart Alan E. Lemons on April 15, 1972, and was sealed in the Logan Temple on April 13, 1973. Barbara passed away in her home surrounded by her family. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the American Legion Auxiliary, and The Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She worked many years at the Food Ranch and loved being a teacher’s aide at Cottonwood Elementary. As a mom, she taught her daughters many good qualities such as how to be a good wife and mother. She passed on her amazing cooking and baking skills to them.

Barbara had numerus church callings and her favorite was being a temple worker at the Manti Temple. Her grandkids were the highlight of her life; her pride and joy. She helped raise her grandsons over the past seven years and has attended many events. In return, the boys helped her. She was there from day one when her granddaughter was adopted. Her world revolved around her eternal companion Alan.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Dulude of Orangeville, UT, Cindy (Brian) Dulude of Goodyear, AZ; her three handsome grandsons, Gregory, Tyson, and Damon; and her beautiful granddaughter, Allyson; sisters, Susan Gollob of Guthrie, OK, Karan (Jerry) Grigsby of South Jordan, UT; brother, Jeffrey (Brenda) Worthen of Green River, WY;  she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Stella Worthen; loving husband, Alan Lemons; in-laws, George and Violet Lemons; brothers-in-law, Maury Gollob, Gregory Lemons; sister-in-law, Cheryl Spears; niece, Jennifer Spears; great-niece, Autumn; and great-nephew, Andrew.

We want to thank Dalen Johnson (Emery Medical Center), CNS Hospice, Dr. Potter, and her very kind and attentive nurse, Amber Minchey, along with Mitchell Funeral Home for conducting the funeral arrangements.
