There will be a Benefit Concert for Tammee Perry on Saturday, October 28 at 12:00 pm at the Price Theatre on Main Street in Price. Event Organizer, Tanner Hill stopped by Castle Country Radio to invite the community out for this great event.
“So I do a lot of different events for the community, free of charge for them, I like to give back to the community. I usually run a program called, Kids Are Royalty, where we find kids that need uplifting in rural parts of the communities of Utah. We put together like car events for them, using exotic cars to kind of uplift their spirits, and I got thinking, you know what, this is not a child here but its like a major issue within the community that what can we do to help? I got a hold of a few other people, I was like hey, let’s do a concert. Because I’m a professional musician myself, and let’s do something here in Carbon and Emery County,” explained Hill. The musicians that are scheduled to appear are Caleb Roy Fullmer, Lily Ellen & Sai, Nate Kilker, Heber Matute and Tanner Hill aka The Ivory Keys of Huntington. There are also some special guests that are scheduled to make an appearance too.
Dealing with the aftermath of a house fire can be very overwhelming so this concert is to benefit Tammee Perry who suffered a total loss from a house fire in October. “So around like October 1 in Huntington, around 3:00 am, there was a house fire that happened. Basically, Tammee’s father, Bob, lost his life in that fire it was total loss fire. In the process, we found out the daughter, Tammee was staying there with her father and basically was there when it happened,” said Hill. Not only did Tammee lose her father to this devastating fire but all of her personal belongings.
The organizers will be hosting a Red-Carpet event one hour prior to the concert where guests will have an opportunity to meet the musicians. Again, this event will take place at the Price Theatre on Main Street in Price on Saturday, October 28 at 12:00 pm. The donation ticket price to attend is:
