
Benjamin Clifford Austin, born March 15, 1990 in Price, Utah, passed away at his home on October 29, 2023 due to previous health complications. Ben was the son of Willard Harry Austin and Ruby Lee Colwell Austin Morgan.
On April 12, 2014 Ben married Erin Nichole Tibbetts in Beaver, Utah. Benjamin and Erin had one child together, Asher Gage Austin, and together raised one stepson, Isaac Tibbetts.
Ben enjoyed numerous sports including baseball, football, and wrestling; but, most of all, he had a passion for riding his dirt bike, 4-wheeling, fishing, and spending time with his family outdoors.
Though Ben struggled with diabetes from age 11 and other accident-related injuries throughout his life, it never stopped him from enjoying life to the fullest. Ben graduated with high honors from MMI Institute of Arizona where he completed his schooling and exceled in his abilities as a mechanic. Ben was also a graduate of Carbon High School. His profession carried him to work in several different states and he truly loved being a mechanic and heavy equipment operator; always taking great pride in his work.
Ben is survived by his wife, Erin Nichole Austin; sons, Asher Gage Austin and Isaac Matthew Tibbetts of Congress, AZ; mother, Ruby (Harold Morgan) of Spring Glen, UT; grandmother, Juanita, Spring Glen; brother, Justin Leigh Austin (Sasha and Max); sister, Brittany Marie Gilmore; all of Wellington. Ben came from a large family and also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ben was preceded in death by his father, Willard Austin, on April 27, 2020.
Memorial service, Friday, November 3, 2023, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main St. Price, UT). The family will receive friends Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends and family are welcome daily and may share memories of Ben online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
