The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is hosting their First Responders Banquet on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 6:00 pm in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center on the USU Eastern campus. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to get all the details.

“The First Responders Banquet is a free dinner for Carbon County First Responders and a guest.  They’re welcome to bring a guest. It’s a free dinner, there will be a speaker and then after we have prizes to give away,” stated Haeck. This is a celebration for all Carbon County Law Enforcement, EMS and Fire. This gathering is a chance to express appreciation to all First Responders for their efforts and sacrifices.

Now is the time to RSVP for the banquet and remember First Responders are invited to bring a guest.  “So this year we have a little incentive for the RSVP. If you RSVP your name will be put in to a drawing for $500.00 in cash that we’ll give away that evening,” said Haeck. The chamber is still looking for businesses to help sponsor this banquet. “So for the sponsorships, the sponsorship money will go toward the dinner. The chamber is actually donating $4,000.00 in cash prizes to be given away that evening, and then with the sponsorship money we’ll pay for the dinner and anything collected over and above what the dinner costs, we’ll just throw into the cash prizes. So there might be more than $4,000.00 in cash prizes,” said Haeck.

There are two sponsor options available:

$250.00       Your business name will be listed on the program

$500.00       Your business name and logo will be on the program, on a sponsor, and banner displayed at the vent and your business will be recognized during the banquet
