The Active Re-Entry organization is hosting their Annual See’s Candies Fundraising Event now through December 1. Director, Terri Yelonek took time to come into Castle Country Radio to discuss all the details.

The great thing about this fundraising event is you can order See’s Candies from the comfort of your own home. “It’s one of the easiest fundraising activities for our organization to do but it has been very profitable and we’re so grateful for the support we’ve had the last two years from our community members,” said Yelonek. This helps raise funds to provide services to people with disabilities in Eastern Utah.

All of the See’s Candies are very affordable for Christmas gift ideas for family, friends, neighbors or co-workers. All you have to do to place an order is to visit the Active Re-Entry website at https://www.arecil.org/ scroll down to the See’s Candies flyer and click. “Jump online, scan the QR code, takes you to our store front, you order it, you pay for it online, and it ships directly to your home. It is See’s Candies for the holidays, so we have three weeks of the store front being open, it does close on Dec. 1,” said Yelonek. You will be able to shop for chocolates, peanut brittle, toffee and lollypops. If you are still not sure what item to buy, there is an option to purchase gift cards.

A portion of the sales will go towards Active Re-Entry’s many programs and services they provide the community. “You’re helping out the individuals in our community who have special needs and it helps us to continue and provide programs for them, so thanks for your support,” said Yelonek.
